Spacious inside and out, lots of areas to sit whatever the requirement. Very well equipped with everything you could ask for, all ages catered for. Secure, private and quiet. The swimming pool is large and warm surrounded by a lovely garden. Alison and Chris were extremely helpful and even arranged for a neighbour to cook us a pasta meal, which was superb. Highly recommend. We drove out to Alberobello, to the market in Martina Franca and Monopoli on the coast, all worth a visit. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Ideal for large groups.

A new look to the trullo

Not only did the pool get a make over but the trullo had a face lift as well. Gone is the old painted, render finish so we now have a stone fronted trullo.

New pool

The new Renolit Touch liner gives a much more natural blue look to the pool rather than the old artificial blue from the old liner. We also changed the plastics from white to black and replaced all the pool border slabs as the old ones were worn and discoloured.

Our stay was luxurious, relaxed and we rested like Royalty. The Trullo is a divine hideaway, cosy and luxurious at the same time, with great amenities to use like the perfect play room. The pool as the centrepiece was used most and appreciated most by my 6 yr old daughter, she did not want to get out, it"s so nice and warm and big. All our questions were answered asap and issues resolved quickly. Alison, Chris and Georgia greeted us when we arrived and provided food and drinks for the first evening, very nice touch there. Thank You again for this great stay in your own little getaway!!

Review 17th June

We stayed as a group of 7 30 somethings and 2 under 2's for one week in June. The trullo was perfect and wonderfully equipped, particularly for the babies. On arrival we were met by Chris and Alison, who were incredibly welcoming, explained everything we needed to know and were easily contactable throughout our stay. We booked a few of the food in the trullo evenings which were amazing. Pizza night ended up lasting for 2 nights as Giuseppe brought so many freshly made dough balls we had to save some for the next day and pasta making night with Palma and 3 generations of her family was a wonderful experience (not to mention filling!) As beautiful as the trullo is, it's the outside space that truly makes this place. The pool was spotless, the courtyard roomy and perfectly shaded. The gardens provided hours of entertainment with a large trampoline, children's play centre and pétanque pitch. The games room was also well utilised, by day, by the children, where it was a welcome relief from the midday sun with more toys than they knew what to do with and in the evening, by the adults with pool, table tennis, fuseball and darts tournaments! We would love to return and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a touch of luxury on a visit to the region.

Summer is almost over

Well, we are almost at then of a very busy summer season for not only our trullo but also our companies, Puglia Pools and Perfect Puglia. Back in the spring we were in the process of upgrading quite a few things at the trullo but we have been so busy that updating our blogs has taken a back seat. Now that things are starting to calm down it's time to update a few things and share a few pictures of the work we have been doing. Our last post was one final look at the pool with its old blue liner so here is a idea of what it looks like now.
